Neighboring Tip of the Week - Pick up extra of an item at the grocery store and share this with your neighbor.

Happy Fall, friends! The season arrives this week…how crazy is that?

This week, we’re thinking about the classic neighboring experiment of sharing food with a neighbor. But, this week’s neighboring tip comes with a twist! In the past, one of the ways we’ve recommended sharing a treat with a neighbor is to buy extra at the grocery store. So, this week’s tip is all about that!

This week, we would encourage you to “accidentally” buy extra of an item at the grocery store. Maybe your family is grabbing a box of cookies from the bakery there? Buy two! We’ve found a super easy, chill way to share treats with a neighbor is to simply buy a little extra at the grocery store and then tell them that. Ring the doorbell with the treat in hand and say something like, “Hey! We bought too many cookies at the store…would you like some?”

Who could say no to such a fun, little gesture?

Happy Neighboring!
