What is the cost?

It’s free! There is no cost to join the Funston Garden Club. As a resident of SoCe we want and encourage you to grow your own vegetables, flowers, whatever you love!

What are my responsibilities?

We handle the watering; you handle the planting, weeding, trimming, and basic upkeep of our shared garden beds.

What is the time commitment?

You take care of your own produce however you see fit! But, we do have regular work days in which you can enjoy the comradery of working with other neighbors.

These work days for 2025 will run from May to August. Check back in March for more information. Come plant potatoes on Saturday, March 15 from 2-4 pm!

What’s growing in the Funston Garden?

• Apple Trees (planted in 2023, should fruit in 2029)

What happens to the things we grow?

They are ours to enjoy and to share with our neighbors!
