Neighboring Tip of the Week - Share something positive about your neighborhood on your social media.

Happy day, friends!

With this week’s neighboring tip, we’re continuing our social media theme from last week. But this week, instead of commenting on a neighbor’s post, we’re encouraging you to create your own post or share a recent post from one of your neighbors! Perhaps they work for a nonprofit doing amazing work, maybe they got a new puppy, or their kid is graduating and they’re sharing their excitement. Whatever it is, find something recent of theirs and spread the love!

We all know that social media is a fantastic medium for connection, but it can also often become co-opted with negativity. We’ve all seen negative social media posts about our neighborhoods, and they’re not any fun to witness. So, this week, we encourage you to continue to contribute positively to social media and to do so by sharing something positive about your neighborhood! Some examples could also be sharing photos from a favorite neighborhood park on Instagram, bragging on and rating an awesome neighborhood business on Facebook, or sharing the message from a funny neighborhood sign on Twitter. However this looks, we hope you enjoy using social media to spotlight your awesome neighborhood!

Happy Neighboring!
