Neighboring Tip of the Week - Comment something positive on a neighbor’s social media post.

This week, we’re presenting a neighboring tip you can experiment with from the comforts of your own home!

It somewhat goes without saying, but in this day and age, you can interact with your neighbors online! Wild. While we would still emphasize and encourage you to interact with your neighbors in person - this is a much better way to foster authentic relationships with them - social media is an additional, helpful tool that you can use to communicate with them. While you’re scrolling on your lunch break, just take a second to like and comment something fun or uplifting. These online mediums are a fantastic way to connect - and to do so safely in the midst of this pandemic, which seems to be winding down (fingers crossed)? So, this week, we encourage you to comment something positive on one of your neighbor’s social media posts!

While social media can be a super helpful tool, one of its shadows seems to be the way some people use it as an outlet for negativity. With this week’s neighboring tip, you’ll get a chance to embody a different way of posting on social media and to share some positivity. Who knows how many people’s days you might touch from your one encouraging post?

Happy Neighboring!
