Neighboring Tip of the Week - Support a neighbor’s small business by writing them a positive review.

Greetings, friend!

This week’s neighboring tip is another that we can experiment with from our own homes: Support a neighbor’s small business by writing them a positive review. While this is true, it also means we should have visited the small business at least once, in order to write an authentic review. So, this week’s tip might also mean getting to visit an awesome neighborhood business, and if so, we encourage you to enjoy every bit of that!

The theory of this week’s tip is three-fold: 

1. It’s meaningful to your neighbor who owns that business to know that they have your support and the support of neighbors in the neighborhood!

2. It’s important to support our neighborhood businesses. Many people know about the importance of shopping local, but we encourage you to take that to the next level and first seek out the businesses in your immediate neighborhood that you can support. Shop neighborhood!

3. It’s so fantastic to spotlight and draw attention to neighborhood assets! Whether it’s other neighbors or people outside the neighborhood, it’s so great to leave a positive review and get the word out to others who might not yet know about the business but would be interested in supporting it.
