Neighboring Tip of the Week - Donate books to your neighborhood’s free library.

Happy Easter, friends!

This week’s tip goes out to the Hermione Grangers out there….

Libraries are the best! And, if you didn’t know it already, many neighborhoods have mini free libraries within them! Often, households or organizations will set up little library boxes in their front yards or around their work buildings where people can leave a book and take a book. The organization Little Free Library has helped grow this movement across the globe, and many people register their libraries with the organization in order to help others locate them. At The Neighboring Movement, we have a Little Free Library in front of our office, so next time you’re in SoCe, drop by, exchange books, and pop into our office while you’re at it!

This week, we encourage you to donate books to your neighborhood’s free library. These little libraries depend upon people leaving books so that they are well stocked, so your donation is sure to be appreciated! If you do not yet know if your neighborhood has a free library, we would encourage you to do some exploring this week. This would be a fun way to not only find one of these libraries near you but also to discover other new sights and features of your neighborhood! If you feel like cheating, you can always use Little Free Library’s map or app to locate a library near you. We hope you enjoy this neighborhood library search!

Happy Neighboring!
