Neighboring Tip of the Week -Pick up your neighbor’s newspaper and leave it on their porch.Happy Sunday, all! This week’s tip is directly inspired by one of our SoCe (SoCe stands for South Central and refers to our amazing neighborhood) neighbors who does this tip every day! This particular person has a neighbor who has a more difficult time walking, so, every morning, he goes and picks up her newspaper from the curb and puts it on her front porch. Friends, this is neighboring at its simplest and best! So, take a peek at your neighbor's sidewalk today. Maybe they've let their paper stack for a few weeks? If so, we would encourage you to experiment with this small act of neighboring kindness and take a morning walk where you can fetch their newspaper and set it on their front porch or near their front door. Perhaps your neighbor notices, perhaps they don’t, but these are the small acts of kindness that make the world go round and make our neighborhoods feel like home!If you experiment with this tip, we would love to hear about it, and be sure to use the following hashtags! #NeighboringWins #NeighboringICT #NeighboringMovement #SoCeLife #WichitaLifeICT Happy neighboring!
