Neighboring Tip of the Week -Check in on a neighbor’s mental health.Good afternoon, all!This week, we’re thinking about neighboring and its impact on mental health. As winter sets in, we recognize that some people might be experiencing additional struggles in terms of mental health, so this week, however it looks, we encourage you to check in on a neighbor with this in mind.Mental health is a personal subject and can be difficult to talk about, so we first and foremost want to be respectful of our neighbors and their privacy. But also, finding common ground is easy! If you've got kids, ask how their kiddos have been doing with balancing school. Maybe you know that they've been working overtime, so vocalize some encouragement as they work through this season of life. This being said, experimenting with this tip will probably look very different for folks depending upon their relationships with their neighbors.Positive affirmations can change someone’s day, so let’s share that good energy with those around us. In the past, we know how meaningful it's been when someone simply said, “You're doing amazing. Keep it up!”, so as this winter season is coming to a close, encourage others how you know you’d like to be encouraged.
