Pride is Everyday

Closing out Pride Month, I wanted to share some of what I saw through my lens at Wichita’s Pride events this weekend.

I love showing up to events like this. Community, support, abundance of acceptance. I was thrilled to hear and feel the positivity from both the attendants and the speakers.

So many families made it out to brunch and get a glimpse of the color and diversity that makes up our city.

This is just a sneak peek, hopefully you’re following us on Instagram and Facebook so you can check out the rest! And if you were at Pride, share with us some of what you saw.

Lastly, we at The Neighboring Movement want to always be intentional with how we advocate for our friends that exist on the spectrum. LGBTQIA+ people are an integral part of our community. Here’s a reminder of some of the organizations that we love to share who are putting in the work!
