We Care Initiative September Recap: Kick-Off Party Success and Exciting Upcoming Events!
We are thrilled to share the highlights from our We CareKick-Off Party, which took place last month. The event was a heartwarming success, with 60 passionate community members coming together to make a difference in their neighborhoods. Each attendee took the We Care pledge, demonstrating their commitment to fostering kindness, connection, and positivity within our community. We are also delighted to announce that every participant proudly took home a We Care yard sign to showcase their dedication to the cause.
The energy and excitement from the Kick-Off Party were incredible, and it’s clear that our community is ready to embrace the values of We Care. We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended and made the event such a success.
Next Up: Neighborhood Building Sessions – Starting September 23!
As we continue to build on this momentum, we’re excited to invite everyone to our next major event—the We Care Neighborhood Building Sessions. These sessions are designed to help strengthen the bonds within our community, offer support, and brainstorm ideas for a neighborhood gathering.
The next session will take place on Monday, September 23, at 6 PM at the Evergreen Library. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow community members, share ideas, and learn more about how you can show you care.
We’d love to see both familiar faces and new friends join us! If you couldn’t make it to the Kick-Off Party, this is your chance to get involved, take the pledge, and continue the positive energy that’s spreading across Wichita.
How You Can Get Involved:
- Attend the Neighborhood Building Sessions on September 23.
- Bring a neighbor—the more voices we have, the stronger our impact will be.
- Stay connected by following our updates and keeping an eye out for more events and opportunities to engage.
Thank you to everyone for your support, and we look forward to seeing you at Evergreen Library! Let’s keep the momentum going and show Wichita that We Care!
