Neighboring Tip of the Week - Give a sweet treat to someone at the bus stop.

Fall is quickly approaching, so we gotta fit our last summer neighboring tips in while we can!

This week, we would encourage you to give a sweet treat to someone at the bus stop. I mean, c’mon, how fun and refreshing is that! Do you know where any bus stops are in your neighborhood or the one that’s closest to your home? If you don’t know, we would encourage you to do some investigating and then head towards the closest one with a sweet treat in hand. All you have to say is something like, “Would you like an ice cream bar? I’m a neighbor from just around the corner, and I wanted to bring some treats down to the bus stop - it’s hot out here!”

Also, we get that taking food from strangers can be a bit odd; if someone doesn’t want your gift, don’t worry about it. Maybe, as these small acts of kindness only continue to abound, that’ll change….

Happy Neighboring!
